Sharon & Ben were married at Farbridge last week and I had the privilege of being their wedding photographer for their special day. Complete coverage began with the girls getting ready in one of the bedrooms at Farbridge. It is great when bridal preparations are at the same location, I can come and go as and when, then meet with the guys and guests arriving in between. The wedding had a bit of a wine theme going on which was lovely. The ceremony room looked fabulous, decorated with drapes and chair covers finished with pink bows and rose petals. Weather wise it was a mixed bag but generally dry and manageable, if not a little on the windy side at times! Most of the photo’s were taken after the ceremony and before the wedding breakfast, with a little help from the toast master, however being a little short of time we took a few more afterwards to allow for a bit of mingle time too.
Farbridge is another lovely barn wedding venue located not far from me. Although it is a barn conversion it has a more modern feel than some, particularly in the ceremony room. The grounds are very well kept and there are some great locations for photo’s, including a lovely old bridge and stream. Farbridge is set in the rural landscape of the Sussex downs, within easy access of London, Brighton and Southampton, the beautifully restored barns are designed specifically for wedding receptions and licensed for civil ceremonies. With facilities for between 60 – 150 guests you create your perfect occasion to suit your style for a memorable and romantic wedding day. The modern facilities, combined with 10 contemporary bedrooms, make Farbridge a flexible and ideal venue to entertain your family and friends, perfect for weddings whatever the season.
“Kevin photographed our wedding at Farbridge in September and he was completely brilliant. He arrived promptly in the morning and instantly made us feel at ease. He was friendly to everyone and was never pushy, even when he had to coordinate all the big group shots. We aren’t natural posers at all but he made it seem completely natural. The weather wasn’t great but Kevin knew how to work around it to get amazing shots. He was also great at getting some beautiful natural pictures of the guests when they didn’t know he was there! He stayed later than he needed to and also sent the link to the photos very soon after the wedding which was brilliant. We are so completely thrilled with the finished photos, we can’t stop looking at them. We’d recommend Kevin to everyone. He is everything you would look for in a wedding photographer – professional, friendly, and he really knows how to get the most beautiful pictures.”
