Nicki and Alex were married at Highfield Park, Hook in Hampshire on what I think must surely have been one of the hottest days of the year. One of my favourite weddings this year began with Nicki and the girls getting ready in the bridal suite at Highfield Park. While she put her dress on, I slipped away for some shots with Alex and the guys, along with some random candid photo’s of the guests arriving, details etc. The wedding had a slightly vintage feel, with bunting and a pastel colour scheme. After and a beautiful and emotional ceremony, we headed outside in the blazing sunshine for some groups. For the final group shot, celebrity masks where handed out to all the guests which was really funny to photograph! I took a few must have romantic portraits before the wedding breakfast outside the hotel, leaving the rest until after the meal when the sun had lost some of it’s strength, which was perfect down at the folly.
Kevin photographed our wedding day earlier this month and we can not recommend him highly enough. He was professional, fun and friendly, from the moment he came to meet us to talk about photographing our wedding until the end of our wedding day where he had worked so hard. Our guests commented on how hard he had worked in the hot sunshine and love our photos as much as we do, the day has been totally captured from start to finish and its great to look back on. We will cherish these pictures forever, there are some wonderful natural photos and some we didn’t even know were taken, just lovely! Thank you so much Kevin.
