Here is the lovely wedding of Charlotte and Chris who married at St Margaret’s Church in Rottingdean. Coverage began with Charlotte and the girls getting ready at her parents house, just up the road from the church. As parking was a little limited at all three locations, I arrived early and secured a nice space at the church, took a few shots of the church and met the vicar, before walking up to the house. Despite the forecast, the weather wasn’t so bad in the end. Although it poured down while I was at the house, the rest of the day was dry and even sunny now and then. With Charlotte, Mum & Dad, five bridesmaids and a flower girl there was plenty to keep me busy until it was time to head back to the church. When I arrived at the church, most of the guests where there already, as they had travelled on the bus that Charlotte and Chris had arranged for them. After a few shots with Chris and the guys, the girls began to arrive. The vicar was great, and was more than happy for me to snap away in the corner. On the way out I grabbed a shot of everyone from upstairs. We took a few groups outside, it was a bit cold and windy so we didn’t hang around too long. All the guests hopped on the bus, and I took some shots with Charlotte and Chris, leaving just in time before the next wedding arrived! At the Mercure Hotel, we had a bit of mingling time for everyone while I took some candid shots. Then we popped over to the bandstand just for a couple of minutes, there was even some sunshine and blue sky by then too. After the wedding breakfast was the speeches, cake cutting and music and dancing.
