Amberley Castle Wedding Photography

Kate & Iain’s wedding at Amberley Church, followed by reception at Amberley Castle. Coverage began early at Amberley Castle, I spent a bit of time taking photographs around the grounds before some bridal preparations. Kate was ready well on time, and wanted some small family groups and shots with the bridesmaids before heading to the church. I then went and met up with Iain and the guys for some pre wedding shots of them and the guests arriving. I can’t believe how lucky they were with the weather, the day before and the day after were quite horrific! After the ceremony and a confetti shot, myself and the happy couple sneaked away for 20 minutes or so for some romantic portraits around the castle. It was then time for a few select groups before relaxing with their guests for a couple of hours prior to the wedding breakfast. Outdoor games were set out for everyone to enjoy, along with an ice cream bike for refreshments! I spent the rest of the day capturing natural shots, guest requests and couple portraits. The wedding breakfast was held upstairs in the restaurant, which looked stunning as always! Here are a couple from the day…

Frances and Grant married at the awesome Amberley Castle Hotel in the run up to Christmas. As you can see the Castle was beautifully decorated, I think there was a Christmas tree in pretty much every room in fact! Coverage began with Frances getting ready in the Amberley suit before heading out to find Grant and his best man prior to the ceremony. The Great Room was laid out slightly differently which made a nice change. A cold but thankfully dry day meant we could get outside for a few groups and romantic portraits after the ceremony which was perfect. After the wedding breakfast and the speeches, we headed back outside for a few extra shots of them with the wedding car before it got too dark.
