The Norfolk Arms Hotel Arundel Wedding Photographer

Lisa & Russell were married at The Norfolk Arms Hotel in Arundel back in October and I was lucky enough to be their chosen wedding photographer. Complete coverage of their special day began in the bridal suite with Lisa and the girls getting ready, part way through I slipped away to grab some shots with Russell and the other guys and returned to the room once Lisa was in her dress. The weather was good for the time of year, meaning we could get outside for the most part. The ceremony was lovely and Norfolk Arms has the perfect ceremony room for photographs, plenty of natural light falling on the couple and space to get different angles. After the ceremony we headed outside for a few family groups. The wall behind the hotel was covered with beautiful autumn leaves which made a perfect backdrop. I then took them down to the ruins for some shots of them together before the wedding breakfast. While we were down there we were approached by a gypsy who wanted to wish them luck, which was quite amusing! After the wedding breakfast and speeches I carried on shooting candid shots and offered groups and portraits for couples and families before the evening got going. Here are a few photo’s from the day, the complete wedding requires a username and password and is available here

Compared to other Arundel hotels, the Norfolk Arms hotel has a wealth of history and heritage. A charming Georgian Coaching Inn, built over 200 years ago by the 10th Duke of Norfolk. It soon became the local meeting place and a popular resting spot for weary travellers. To this day the Arundel Society for the Prosecution of Thieves and Felons still hold their annual Dinner at this Arundel Hotel – a tradition which dates back to the 18th century. The Norfolk Arms hotel is set under the battlements of Arundel Castle and has an atmosphere of traditional permanence, the kind that prevails in all the gracious buildings that make up Britain’s colourful heritage. Being a preferred supplier for the Norfolk Arms Hotel in Arundel I cover many weddings there every year. I also supplied the images for their wedding brochure. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Arundel, and close to some fantastic backgrounds for your wedding photographs.
