One of my favorite venues in Sussex has to be Upwaltham Barns, and I have been lucky enough to shoot many weddings there over recent years. This shot shows a couple who married there in November 2007 enjoying the fireworks!

Nestling in the heart of the Sussex Downs in West Sussex between Petworth and Chichester, Upwaltham Barns provide a beautiful and unique setting for wedding receptions. The atmosphere at this venue is delightfully friendly, unstuffy and helpful and the owners, Tim and Nicola, will go out of their way to help you.

The excellent facilities at the venue suit all kinds of occasion. The larger of the two barns can accommodate up to 170 for seated dining. For your wedding, it may be possible to have a Service of Blessing at the exquisite, medieval church situated in the meadow opposite the venue. Alternatively, both barns are licensed for civil wedding and partnership ceremonies.
